My name is Bonnie & I am a scared little girl who came from another local rescue that shut down recently.

The other rescue considered me to be a "feral" dog as I am very undersocialized and was found living with my brother confined to one room surrounded by roaches & my own feces. I had very limited human contact & because of that I am still intimidated by people reaching for me or going to pick me up. However once I am in your arms I do like to be held & petted....it just takes me a little bit to trust that you won't hurt me.

I broke my leg while in the care of the other group by jumping out of a persons arms & it is still casted (but healing). Once my leg has completly healed I will be spayed & ready to find my furever home.

I do ok with the other dogs here as well as the cats but I would do better in a home by myself where I got all the attention & work I need to be able to be the best little doggie I can be. I do NOT walk on a leash yet but I am pee pad trained. I am scared of most everything & everyone. I would not be good in a home with children because of my fears.

All animals are housed in foster homes and we REQUIRE an appointment to visit with them (we all work full time jobs & do not have set hours of operation for the rescue). If you would like to set up an appointment to visit please email us!
