My name is Little Girl (that's what the kind man who found me running by the side of the highway called me) and I am an adult chi mix (probably with some kind of terrier). I am a tiny girl weighing around 10 pounds but I am a little on the thin side and need to gain a few pounds still to be at my best weight.

I LOVE to ride in the car, lay on the couch beside you, bark at the squirrels, and get belly rubs. I'm a little scared of the bigger dogs that live at the rescue and would like a home of my very own where I am the queen and center of all the attention. I don't seem to mind the kitty cats (but then they are pretty much the same size I am).

Someone in my past wasn't very kind to me so I'm a little shy when you first approach me but I warm up quickly and will even give you kisses once I know you :o)

The rescue thinks I would make a great pet therapy dog like the "big girls" that live here with us. I have a sweet disposition and love to be held.

I went today and got all my shots and was wormed and I have an appointment to be spayed soon (that has to be done before I leave the rescue as I have apparantly had puppies in the past).
