Name: Cocoa Age: Senior (15 years) Status: UTD on all shots, neutered & microchipped Health Issues: blind Current Weight: 30 pounds Adoption Fee: $125 Temperament: Good with other dogs & cats
Cocoa was found out in the rain by a Good Samaritan who took him to a local vet and he was treated for fleas and overgrown nails. He did have a microchip but his former owner no longer wanted him. With the assistance of Raising Aid for Dogs at Risk, we were able to accept Cocoa into our rescue. He has had a cardiology evaluation and his heart murmur was found to be very low grade and of no clinical significance. He has had a dental with removal of 19 teeth. He had a skin lesion removed from his penis and is benign. Cocoa is now feeling his best and looking for his special forever home! He paws at the door when he needs to potty and LOVES to play with his foster mom. He has a halo that he wears to help him navigate as his vision is low. He will need a home that can help keep him safe given his vision issues.
